Fish oil from small deep sea fish derived from the unpolluted waters around Antarctica. The smallest types of fish are least polluted, a fact also demonstrated by our frequent analyses. Fish from Norwegian waters with the highest degree of pollution are never used in Minami-Nutrition’ fish oil capsules.
	Pharmaceutical purity EPA. Minami-Nutrition’ fish oil supplements have the lowest levels of contaminants such as PCBs, pesticides and dioxins. Heavy metals (mercury, lead and cadmium) are in fact non detectable. The oxidation level also more than meets legally imposed standards. It is not surprising, therefore, that a fish oil supplement such as PLUSEPA® is up to 40 times purer than fresh fish.(2)
	No use of irritants (chemicals). Minami-Nutritions’ environmentally friendly approach avoids the use of chemical solvents such as hexane. The EFP® process only uses CO2, a substance we all exhale ourselves. The CO2 released during the EFP® process is virtually 100% recycled. The heat and electricity required for this environmentally friendly, supercritical CO2 distillation process is generated in an eco-friendly manner using bio raw materials.
